Out of the twisted mind of Jett West comes a strange ride through the southern countryside. Or at least a visit to one of it's neighborhoods.

Over the course of one night, a husband discovers that his wife is cheating on him, a young woman gets kidnapped, and then... there's Patricia. Three sets of neighbors who, until tonight, don't truly know one another.

The film is a fast-paced, dark drama, some have called a psychological thriller that has kept previewers completely engaged..

The people behind The devil lives in Hot Springs are Jett West and Tony Gschwend. A couple of guys from Central Arkansas who, thinking they had a script they could shoot in a summer, decided to make a movie. They rounded up a few actors and started production. The last shot for their "summer project" was taken on December 21st, with "winter weather" in the news.

Taking on the name Independent Guerilla, due to the fact that it was an independent project, and very much "guerilla" style production, Jett and Tony made the movie using strong Arkansas talent. Production ended approximately six months later than the guys thought it would, and now, a year later, and with the addition of a local sound engineer, the movie is now available on DVD.

In the beginning.....

One friend says to another friend "Hey ah, you think you can read a script for me and tell me what you think?". The other friend says "Sure".

A little while later the one friend says to the other friend "what did you think?" The other friend says "man, that was good, we outta make a movie".

A little while later the one friend says to the other friend "you really think we can make a movie?" The other friend says "well ya, How many little one minute movies do you make in a day?" The one friend's eyes brightened and he said "huh".

A little while later the one friend says to the other friend "How do you suppose we go about shooting a movie? Where are we going to get a camera?"" The other friend says "Man, we'll just use my little camera. We'll get a few friends together a couple weekends shoot it and put it on Youtube. We'll make all our friends watch it and have fun saying we made a movie."

A little while later a good friend says to the one friend and the other friend, "You know, I got a camera and some equipment you boys can use. If you're going to take the time to make a movie you might as well make it right. I'll even run camera if you'll let me." The other friend thinks "ooh **** what have you stepped in this time?"

A little while later the one friend and the another friend gathered up a few friends and after a whole lot more than a couple weekends all these friends put together a pretty good movie.

A little while later a another good friend says to the one friend and the other friend, "I hear you guys have put together a pretty good movie. If you want, I'll go over it for you." When the one friend and the other friend watched the movie after the another good friend went through it, it was like magic. There was music, and door noises, and crickets! It was beautiful magic to the ears of the one friend and the other friend.

I'm Tony. I'm the other friend and my camera didn't get to see a set.
My friends and I hope you enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed making it.
